dEEVOiR Consulting Services

After the successful completion of Summer project of 2 months at RHRS i went on to work with dEEVOiR Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd.. It was a consulting firm established in 2003 by its co-founder and CEO Mr. Aajay Bundela. This organization started as a pure recruitment consultant but today after 7 years it has a plethora of consulting services for its customers like Business Services, HR Services, Retail Services and Media Services.
As per the CEO Mr. Aajay Bundela: You come with a problem we will give you the solution. The organization lives with the commitment saying " determined to deliver".
As a project trainee i was given to do branding for the organization and was also develop business models for future. At the start, i thought to concretize the Vision & Mission statements because thats how the organization makes the future road map. It was very difficult for me due to my lack of experience but after extensive secondary research i was able to finalize on certain things and now they are reality. I wrote my first Vision & Mission statement ( thanks to my Prof. Mr. Ram Nair).
That was not all, i was suppose to develop a business model and also generate business for the existing verticals Being from a retail background i thought why not to start something related to retail?. I counsulted my CEO and he agreed, both of us then designed the business model taking into consideration about all the services in retail that is outsourcable. With a lot of hardwork and research we finally have the Retail Verical in place giving services like Plannogramming, DBMS, Visual Merchandising & Space Selling. I also was able to get few clients for the HR services vertical
Culturally the organization is well established. They make their employees feel very homely and know each other very closely. They employees including the CEO enjoy each and every day of their work and take happiness out of small achievements.
My salutes to some of them Aajay sir, GS, AD, SJ, RP, MG, and all my coullegues....

Cheers to dEEVOiR...

Summer Training- RHRS

Another experience of life time, working with Mr. Anirban Sarkar, Mr. Ashish Jain and all others at Reliance HR Services.

I still remember the day i went to appear interview at DAKC for RHRS. My mind was hunted by many questions like what will i do in a HR company? would i be able to do justice to the project as i was not very much aware about the domain . But today when i stand beside to these highly experienced people with a certificate of completion of project; i feel highly elated and satisfied. The experience that was shared by these great people was really immense. Can anyone imagine the manpower industry to be valued at Rs 2000 cr. which is again not the correct figure, its more than that. This industry is highly unorganized, so it is difficult to know the exact figure as the balance sheets of these unorganized players are not updated anywhere. Agencies like ERA, Ma Foi, and Manpower are trying to make different approaches to make this happen. The industry is divided into Search & selection (Rs 600 cr.) and staffing (Rs 1400 cr.). The industry is expected to grow at 50% for search & selection and 70% for the Staffing in the coming years.

Wait i forgot to mention my team of four who made this research successful i.e Amit Bobade (BVIMSR), Rushil Khanna (BVIMSR), Prateek Chhabra (ITM) and of course me.

Other than we four there we another 2 people who are worth mentioning and there contribution to this project was immense with context to managing the team and thoughts. They are our coordinators Ms. Shivangi Yadav and Ms. Prachi Jhunjhunwala.

I learnt a lot and i will always miss the food court of DAKC and the conference halls. I will miss the extremely important feedbacks of Anirban Sir, smile from Ashish sir, scoldings from shivangi and prachi mam, verification of reimbursements from kamalesh sir and the games at our computers.

Nice working at RHRS, Mumbai

Auction of 3G

The most awaited 3G auction begins on thursday i.e. 25th Feb,2010 when the government invited the applications from the teleccom operators for bidding. According to the NIA (notice inviting application) released by the DOT, 3G spectrum will be given to three top bidders in 17 circles, while five circles will have four players excluding the state run BSNL an MTNL. These five circles include Pujab, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Bihar and Orissa.
To keep the 3G market competitive, the DOT has kept the merger and acquisition rules tight. If two 3G Players merge their businesses then they will loose one slot of 5 MHz.
